Mohri Garden

Written by admin. Posted in Best Parks & Gardens, Tokyo Guide

Tucked in behind Mori Tower and the Asahi TV building, the rich greenery of Mohri Garden brings a certain calmness to Roppongi Hills. This classic Japanese garden only covers around 4,300 square meters, which is not that much by garden standards, but manages to pack in lots of well designed natural beauty. The garden offers a wide variety of trees (including cherry blossoms), flower beds, a footpath with benches at strategic viewpoints, a bridge, and a stream which trickles down over rocks to lilypads and a pond below. Altogether Mohri Garden creates a kind of oasis you wouldn’t expect to find in the middle of the a large city like Tokyo.
