Japan’s leading urban developer, Mori Building, renowned for its role as the operator of Roppongi Hills, proudly announces the grand opening of Japan’s tallest skyscraper on November 24, 2023, soaring to a remarkable height of 330 meters.
This impressive development will encompass approximately 1,400 residential units, covering over 214,500 square meters of office space, and featuring a diverse selection of around 150 stores. Notable highlights within Azabudai Hills include the Keio University Center for Preventive Medicine, Janu Tokyo (the inaugural sister-brand hotel of Aman), Tokyo Venture Capital Hub, and a curated collection of luxury retailers, including Hermès, Cartier, CELINE, DIOR, BERLUTI, and more. While the retail spaces are set to gradually unveil their offerings from December 2023 onwards, Mori Building has already attracted enough tenants to fill about half of the available spaces.
New York-headquartered Pace Gallery will also open its first permanent location in Japan in Azabudai Hills, marking its eighth presence worldwide. This joins the gallery’s existing spaces in London, Geneva, Seoul, Hong Kong, New York, Palm Beach, and Los Angeles. Additionally, the MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: EPSON teamLab Borderless will also make its debut in Tokyo.
Access
- Kamiyacho Station: The northwest corner of Azabudai Hills is directly connected to Kamiyacho Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line.
- Roppongi Itchome Station: For those traveling on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line, Roppongi Itchome Station is just a short walk to the northeast of Azabudai Hills.
- From Roppongi: If you’re in the Roppongi neighborhood to the east, you can enjoy a walk along Gaien-higashi Dori Avenue to reach Azabudai Hills.
