Everybody who stays at an apartment managed by Housing Japan expects the highest-level of customer care, and to make sure we are living up to that expectation we ask guests to provide feedback from time-to-time. The below is a sample of recent reviews that people have been kind enough to share with us.
Very centrally located, would especially recommend for solo business travelers who want to have a small kitchen or something rather than a hotel room or similar. The place has all the kitchen basics and a table you’ll need, several restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

Very nice accommodation with great location, it is very convenient as it close to train station, middle of shibuya. Many restaurants and 24 hrs supermarket around the corner I had great experience staying in this apartment and highly recommend everyone to stay.

Location 10/10 Cleanliness 10/10 Amenities 10/10 Communication 10/10 Fast Response from the Host (Miri). Was shocked to see the space in the apartment which was much spacious then what I expected. It’s only less then a minute walk to the convenience store (Lawson & 7-Eleven). 7-10 minutes walk to the train station (Iidabashi) which I would say it’s also very convenient because there’s so many different train lines for you to get to anywhere without worries. Highly recommend business people to live in this apartment if you’re there for business trips like me which requires you to live more then a month. Definitely will book this apartment again when I’m back for another trip.

I stayed here for 3 months and loved it! Very conveniently located; next to a 24 hour supermarket and a 2 minute walk from a bus that goes directly to Shibuya and Shinjuku. Downside is closest metro is 12 mins away, and closest JR is 25 mins way (Ebisu) – but I liked this walk and did it a few times a week to get food. All the amenities you could possibly think of are provided. That is, bed linen, towels, shampoo/ soap/ conditioner, washing detergent, etc etc. The list continues. I only found myself buying stuff to replace things that I had used up. Downside is there is only 1 set of bed linen, so you need to wash and dry it on the same day if you want to sleep. Washing and drying machines are available, but quite expensive. One wash is 200 yen, and it costs about 300 yen to dry something completely. So approx 500 yen per set of items (i.e. 500 yen for bed linen, 500 yen for whites, 500 yen for blacks, etc). The room is very modern and stylish, with great sunlight if you keep the blinds open. The area in general is very upmarket and suave, which is great if that’s the sort of thing you like. The staff members in the accommodation are very polite, with one even helping me bring my bags outside to a taxi at 5am. Finally, the host was incredibly helpful. I went to the wrong location on my check-in day and she came and picked me up and helped with my bags. She also responded to any queries over LINE very quickly, generally within 24 hours each time and went out of her way to provide as much help to me as she possibly could. Definitely one of the best hosts I’ve experienced on Airbnb. We need more people like her! Thank you for having me 🙂

Wonderful space in the heart of Tokyo! Literally a 5 – 10 minute walk away from Shibuya and Harajuku. Despite this close proximity, the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. The place is perfect for a single person or a couple. Any more than that and it can get cramped very quickly. The host, Miri, was great and responsive to all of my questions and quickly resolved the issue we had with the internet. If I didn’t move to Tokyo and were to only visit, we would definitely stay here again.

A perfectly equipped one-bedroom apartment in lively Azabujuban – surrounded by a plethora of restaurants and small shops, and right next to the Metro. Although close to a main road, the apartment is quiet. It’s been recently refurbished, and everything is in great working condition. The AC didn’t blink in the recent heatwave and has kept me cool and sane without keeping me awake at night 🙂 Miri from Housing Japan speaks fluent English and was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the process – thanks!

I stayed at this apartment almost 2 months, and it was amazing ! One of the best arias i ever lived in Tokyo(and i have been in Tokyo more than 10 times) ! So convenient , quiet , good restraints around, coffee shops and 7/11 To the Roppongi station( hibiya line)by foot 3-5 minutes, and to Nogizaka( Chiyoda line) 10 min. Just so in love with the location! Highly recommend it! Apartment was the same as on the picture in the website. Nice design and clean. For 1-2 person so good! Was happy to stay! And hope to come back 🙂 Thank you!

The team at Housing Japan is the best! They are very responsive and have the friendliest staff. I highly recommend any of the properties under their management. This place in particular is in a great location and decorated to make anyone feel at home. You cannot go wrong choosing this apartment.

Stayed at a luxury apartment in Shibuya
The location is very quiet, five minutes away from 2 convenience stores as well as a handful of restaurants. Also, the place itself is very accessible from both Tokyo Metro and JR stations. Highly recommended for solo travelers and/or extended business trips. Our contact was also very hands-on and went to meet us in person when there were issues.

Stayed at an apartment close to the Imperial Palace, in Chiyoda ward.
This is an excellent apartment. It was brand new when I moved in. There is more space and more light than the photos show. The polished concrete walls also look better. The kitchen is fully equipped, although there is a scarcity of bench space for cooking. The bathroom is spacious by Japanese standards, and the brand new shower room was very tidy and functional. The location is conveniently close to the noise and colour of Harajuku, yet being on a quiet residential street, is far enough away from its noise. There are cafes mere steps away, and a good supermarket within 10 minutes’ walk. The nearest subway is 10 minutes’ walk, and the JR Harajuku station is about 15 minutes away. The Housing Japan team checked me in in person, responded to requests quickly and were a pleasure to deal with.

Stayed at an apartment in Harajuku, just 3 mins walk from the famous Takeshita shopping street.
My stay was comfortable and pleasant. The apartment had the necessary amenities for my stay of 30 days, including a kitchen equipped with the basics, fridge, gas cooktop, washing machine. The view of the Shinjuku skyline is magnificent. The location is a little far from the train stations (10-15 mins on foot to the nearest station, and 25+ mins to Shinjuku station), but buses run past the building regularly. It is a fairly quiet neighbourhood. The apartment is very small by western standards, but it is definitely much larger than a typical Japanese hotel room. My height (6’2″) was a bit of a problem, as I banged my head on the tops of doorframes a few times. The service from the Housing Japan team was outstanding. Overall, a good apartment for the price and a pleasant experience.

Stayed at an apartment in Shinjuku, close to the busiest business and commercial district in Tokyo.
The first thing you’ll notice is the view! The view of the skyscraper district is excellent and the place is very tastefully decorated in a very western style. There is a balcony too which came as a pleasant surprise! Maybe I just missed reading that on the profile page? My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the kitchen and we made ample use of it cooking many Japanese style dishes. There are two decently sized grocery stores very close by. The bed was very comfy and decently sized. One of our only problems with the place was how bright it got every morning. We bought eye-masks which mitigated it though. Everything in the apartment worked as expected. The wifi was very fast and we had no problems getting connected. Great accommodations, great location!

Stayed at an apartment overlooking the Shinjuku skyscraper district.
Me and my boyfriend stayed for 2 months in this apartment and we really enjoyed it! For Japanese standards it is very spacious and very central ! We often walked to shibuya which is 20 min walking distance. The host was also very quick in responding to all my questions . Only the pocket wifi is a little slow so you might want to get a second one if you need fast wifi . But our overall experience was great!
