Churis Akasaka (チュリス赤坂) is a 73-unit condominium at 2-17-12 Akasaka, Minato-ku. It was developed by Juken Fudosan and built by Sumitomo Construction to a design by the architect Kisho Kurokawa. The steel-reinforced concrete (SRC) building was finished in November 1983 and has 15 storeys above ground and one basement level. Tameike-sanno Station is a 3-minute walk away.

*The building and its design*
Kurokawa, a founder of Japan's Metabolist movement, also kept a residence here. White tile covers the exterior, and continuous horizontal balconies wrap around the façade. The building sits on raised ground one block back from Roppongi-dori, with planted gardens along the entrance approach. The structure conforms to the seismic standard introduced in 1981 (新耐震基準), and major repair works covered the whole building in 2015. The land is freehold and zoned commercial, and residences may be used as offices, subject to building rules.

*Facilities and residences*
Inside the auto-lock entrance, the lobby has marble-clad walls and a chandelier. Two lifts serve interior corridors on the residential floors. The building has security cameras, a video intercom and a contracted alarm service. Meiwa Jisho Community manages it, with staff on site during the day (日勤). There is car, bicycle and motorcycle parking in the building; car spaces carry a separate charge and depend on availability. Pets are permitted, subject to building rules.

Recorded unit sizes range from 52.44 m² to 312.59 m², with layouts from 1LDK up to family plans of four or more bedrooms. Owners have renovated many residences individually, so interiors and room arrangements differ between units.

*Location and access*
Tameike-sanno Station on the Ginza and Namboku lines is a 3-minute walk. Akasaka Station (Chiyoda Line) is 6 minutes away, Kokkai-gijidomae Station (Marunouchi and Chiyoda lines) 8 minutes and Roppongi-itchome Station (Namboku Line) 9 minutes. Next door is the House of Representatives' Akasaka residence for members. Hikawa Park is 440 m away (6 minutes on foot), a Maruetsu Petit supermarket 430 m (6 minutes) and Suntory Hall at Ark Hills 720 m (9 minutes). A medical clinic and a pharmacy are each within 80 m (1 minute). The address falls in the catchment of Akasaka Elementary School, part of Minato City's Akasaka Gakuen, about 1,100 m (14 minutes) away.
