Shirokane The Sky (白金ザ・スカイ) is a residential development of 1,247 homes at 1-2-1 and 1-2-2 Shirokane, Minato-ku, Tokyo, completed in February 2023. It has a 45-storey East tower and a 19-storey West tower, each with one basement level. Tokyo Tatemono led the five developers, with Haseko, Sumitomo Realty & Development, Nomura Real Estate Development and Mitsui Fudosan Residential.

*The building*
Both towers belong to the Shirokane 1-chome East North District redevelopment, whose 11,087 m² site also holds a four-storey building with a factory and a rehabilitation hospital. Shops and childcare facilities fill the towers' lower floors. Azusa Sekkei designed and supervised the project, Jun Mitsui & Associates oversaw the design, and an Obayashi and Haseko joint venture built it. The East tower is 156.1 m high, and the project won a 2023 Good Design Award.

The towers are reinforced concrete with some steel framing, on a mat-slab foundation about 10 m deep. Both use seismic damping, with low-yield-point steel dampers and viscous damping walls.

*Facilities and residences*
A second-floor lounge linking the two towers holds the concierge desk. The East tower has a kids' lounge, fitness studio and theatre room on the second floor, and a Sky Lounge and guest rooms on the 27th. In the West tower, the second floor has a fitness gym, two golf ranges and study and conference rooms, the 19th floor a party room, kitchen studio and guest rooms, and the roof a Sky Terrace. Some facilities and concierge services are charged. Each floor has a 24-hour refuse station, and pets are permitted subject to building rules.

The East tower holds 932 homes and the West tower 315. Plans range from studios to 4LDK and from 23.9 m² to 147.1 m², with double floors and ceilings and a kitchen disposer.

*Location and access*
Shirokane-takanawa Station, on the Tokyo Metro Namboku and Toei Mita lines, is a 3-minute walk. Azabu-Juban Station is a 15-minute walk, Sengakuji 17 minutes and Takanawa Gateway 18. Tokyo International School is a 4-minute walk, The Montessori School of Tokyo 11 minutes and Nishimachi International School 18. On site are a Lincos supermarket, a central plaza and a children's play area by the Furukawa river. Queen's Isetan and the Shirokane shopping street are each a 3-minute walk.
