WORLD TOWER RESIDENCE 44F
JPY 998,000,000
World Tower Residence (ワールドタワーレジデンス) is a 389-residence tower at 2-3-9 Hamamatsucho, Minato-ku, Tokyo, with 46 floors above ground and two below. World Trade Center Building, Kajima Corporation, Mitsui Fudosan Residential, Mitsubishi Jisho Residence and Tokyo Tatemono developed it as part of the Hamamatsucho 2-chome redevelopment. Completed in November 2024, it has been occupied since March 2025.
*The building*
The tower is the high-rise part of the Hamamatsucho 2-chome Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project, which runs alongside the rebuilding of the World Trade Center Building west of Hamamatsucho Station. WTC annex offices take floors 7 to 12, the residents' shared facilities are on floor 13, and the residences occupy floors 14 to 46. The residential entrance hall, with its concierge counter, is on the third floor at the level of the pedestrian deck. The rest of the redevelopment, including the Minato City Arts Centre and shops, is due for completion in 2027.
Kajima Corporation designed and built the tower, which is 185.49 m tall at its highest point. The frame is reinforced concrete, with some steel-reinforced concrete, steel and concrete-filled steel tube members, and the building has a vibration-damping (制震) system. ILYA was the interior designer, while Patricia Urquiola's studio designed the shared spaces on the 13th floor. Kajima Tatemono Sogo Kanri manages the building.
*Services and shared facilities*
The 13th floor has an inner terrace, a bar, a party room with a kitchen, two guest rooms, a fitness room and a golf lounge. Residents can also use a communication lounge, a café lounge, a co-working space and an executive dining room. Some of these facilities charge a usage fee. Each residential floor has a refuse room, parcel lockers are provided, and there are 119 mechanical parking spaces for residents. Pets are permitted, subject to building rules.
*Residences and access*
Layouts run from one-bedroom (1LDK) to three-bedroom (3LDK), and floor areas range from 40.15 m² to 148.21 m². Owners hold the land in shared freehold.
Hamamatsucho Station, on the JR Yamanote and Keihin-Tohoku lines, is a 2-minute walk along a pedestrian deck linked to the tower. Monorail Hamamatsucho Station, on the Tokyo Monorail to Haneda Airport, is a 3-minute walk. Daimon Station (Toei Oedo and Asakusa lines) is 4 minutes on foot, and Takeshiba Station on the Yurikamome line is 10 minutes. Shiba Park and Kyu-Shiba-rikyu Garden are within walking distance.

Residence 44 floor – Southwest Corner Unit
This residence is one of the most desirable units within World Tower Residence, positioned as a southwest-facing corner residence that offers an exceptional sense of openness and panoramic views. From this elevated vantage point, residents can enjoy iconic Tokyo landmarks including Tokyo Tower, Mt. Fuji, Rainbow Bridge, and the greenery of Shiba Park, creating a truly remarkable urban panorama that changes beautifully throughout the day and seasons.
The corner orientation allows abundant natural light to enter the living spaces while enhancing the feeling of openness and privacy. Large windows frame the surrounding cityscape and natural scenery, making the views an integral part of the living experience.
In central Tokyo, where ongoing redevelopment often limits long-term views, a residence that simultaneously overlooks Tokyo Tower, park greenery, Mt. Fuji, and the Tokyo Bay area with Rainbow Bridge is exceptionally rare. This unique combination of city landmarks, natural scenery, and waterfront views makes Residence 4407 particularly special within the building.
